Flyers on British Airways can soon access high-speed connectivity onboard free of charge after a recent deal with Elon Musk's communications company.

Free and Quick Internet Available to Everyone

The airline revealed that the free, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet service through Starlink will be accessible for customers flying coach, premium economy, or first class as of the coming month.

Widespread Rollout Across Several Flight Operators

The umbrella organization of BA, International Airlines Group, stated it had reached an deal involving SpaceX to provide internet coverage on more than 500 planes across its carriers, such as Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus Vueling.

Seamless Connectivity starting at Gate to Arrival

British Airways noted that this implementation of the technology was included in a multi-billion pound “transformation” plan and would provide uninterrupted connectivity access for flyers from boarding to arrival, also when in flight over large bodies of water and remote regions.
